NORTH BRANCH PLANNING COMMISSION

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North Branch Planning Commission will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 6:30 P.M. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the North Branch City Hall, 6408 Elm Street, North Branch.  The purpose of this public hearing is to allow the public to give testimony regarding a request for a Preliminary Plat and Planned Unit Development for the property located in the southwest corner of Cherokee Avenue and 400th in North Branch, MN. 

PROPOSED REQUEST:            

Approval is being requested for a Preliminary Plat and Planned Unit Development for the property located in the southwest corner of 400th and Cherokee Avenue.  The plat will create lots for development and outlots as depicted below. 

Pertinent information about this request is on file at City Hall.  Interested parties are encouraged to submit written or oral comments on this matter at or before the Public Hearing.

NORTH BRANCH PLANNING COMMISSION

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North Branch Planning Commission will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 6:30 P.M. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the North Branch City Hall, 6408 Elm Street, North Branch.  The purpose of the public hearing is to allow the public to give testimony regarding a request to modify an existing Comprehensive Plan Amendment that affects the area southwest of 400th Street and Cherokee Avenue (north of Aztec).                                                      

PROPOSED AMENDMENT:

2.  A maximum of 125 dwelling units shall be located south of 400th Street.  Attached housing will be allowed west of Cherokee Pass provided a 200 foot buffer/conservation/no build easement is provided on the north side of Aztec Trail. 

3.  The east/west row of trees on the north side of Aztec Trail shall meet City Code regarding tree preservation – City Code 66-974 (f)   be preserved.

NORTH BRANCH PLANNING COMMISSION

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North Branch Planning Commission will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 6:30 P.M. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard at the North Branch City Hall, 6408 Elm Street.  The purpose of this public hearing is to receive public testimony regarding a text amendment for City Code 54-16. 

PROPOSED REQUEST:    

Chapter 54 (Subdivision chapter) Section 54-16 (Lot Split) has language inconsistent with other sections of City Code relating to buildable standards.   Staff is asking that the section of Code be modified in order to be consistent with other sections of City Code.
