General Duties:

Under limited supervision, the individual will perform plan review and inspection services which will assure that City's Building, Zoning and related codes (blight, nuisance, etc.), policies and ordinances are enforced and administered throughout the City. Ideal candidates will be responsible for disseminating information to citizens, developers, and City staff regarding state and City codes; working with citizens in complying with state and City codes; responsible for preparing correspondence to persons in violation of City codes and doing the appropriate follow-up to ensure compliance. Minimum Requirements:

Education and experience: Possession of a Limited Building Official certification by the State of Minnesota, ICC or equivalent. Must possess and maintain a valid Minnesota Class D driver’s license with satisfactory driving record. Three (3) years of residential or commercial construction experience or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job class. Septic licensure or the willingness to obtain Residential or commercial inspection and plan review experience.

The City of North Branch, Minnesota is accepting applications for a part-time Liquor Store Clerk. These positions require availability for variable shifts that will include evening, weekend, and holiday availability.


Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills, have good customer service skills, possess the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks, and have previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in the liquor industry. Main responsibilities of the position are customer service, stocking of sales floor shelves and walk-in cooler, and general janitorial duties. The successful candidates will be available to work variable shifts Sunday through Saturday. Holiday and weekend availability is essential.
