Notice is hereby given that the City of North Branch is requesting applications for the following Commissions:

Parks, Trail & Open Space Commission
Planning Commission
Economic Development Authority

Interested parties should submit an application and letter of interest by 4:30 p.m., December 28, 2009.  Applications are available at City Hall.  Applications may be mailed to: Bridgitte Konrad, City of North Branch, P.O. Box 910, North Branch, Minnesota 55056 or sent via e-mail to bridgittek@ci.north-branch.mn.us.  Phone: (651)674-8113.

Boards and Commissions

See the Planning Commission page for their meeting time, a list of current citizen commission members, and minutes of their meetings for the current and previous three months

The Parks, Trails & Open Space Commission meets at 7:00 p.m. on the first Monday of the month at City Hall.   Citizen members are Charles Heinzel (Chairperson), Deb Nagle, John Pantelis, Jean Phillipsen, Kyle Puelston, Theresa Furman-Council Liaison.   Parks Comp Plan Task Force meets on the first Monday of the month from 6-7:00 p.m. at City Hall.

See the Economic Development Authority (EDA) website for more information about the EDA, its current citizen members, and photos of recent development projects around the city.  This commission meets on the first Thursday of the month at 3:30pm at City Hall.

See North Branch Municipal Water and Light Commission page under "City Departments" for full information.  The Commission meets at the Power and Light plant at 3:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month.  Citizen members are Rick Hals and Darrel Fisk, Kathy Blomquist-Council Representative.
